I really enjoy being a comedy writer as I am contributing to the society through my skills. But somewhere I feel the writers are not given the required appreciation and acknowledgement for their work and creativity.
All of us writers will continue doing our work irrespective of not being acknowledged because writing is our dream and passion.
But lately it has been on my mind that the industry should give due credit to all the writers who are behind the success of famous comedians and other stars as this will motivate the new generation to take up their passion...and about me, I write comedy just because I love to make people laugh.
