Leaf art tribute to General Bipin Rawat gets applauded by Anand Mahindra, Anupam Kher

The whole country was shocked when they heard the news of the demise of Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Bipin Rawat in a tragic helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu's Coonoor. Netizens took to social media to express their condolences. One of them, Sulya Taluk, an artist from Karnataka's Sulya Taluk, gave a special artistic tribute to the late general.

Shashi etched the portrait of General Rawat on a leaf and the intricate art will leave you amazed. The clip went viral as eminent personalities such as industrialist Anand Mahindra and actor Anupam Kher also shared it on their social media profiles.

"No words," wrote Anand Mahindra as he shared the post on his Twitter.

Anupam Kher shared a heartfelt message for the late General along with the leaf art video. He shared the clip with folded hands emoji and the national flag of India.

With 17 gun salutes by tri-services personnel, the last rites of General Rawat, and his wife, Madulika, were performed with full military honours at Brar Square in Delhi Cantonment.
