The long-awaited return of NASA astronaut Sunita Williams is finally in sight! After spending over nine months aboard the International Space Station (ISS), Williams, along with fellow NASA astronaut Butch Wilmore, is gearing up for a splashdown off the coast of Florida. Williams, Wilmore, and their Crew-9 teammates are preparing to board the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft, which will bring them back to Earth on March 18th. Alongside Williams and Wilmore, the crew also includes NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov. The astronauts are suited up and ready to make their way home after an extended stay in space. The countdown has officially begun, and soon they’ll be reunited with loved ones after their remarkable journey in orbit. Watch video.
