Cyclone Biparjoy intensified into very severe storm, expected to weaken after crossing coast

Cyclone Biparjoy has rapidly intensified into a very severe cyclonic storm and is traversing the Arabian Sea at present. However, there is a possibility of the intensity of Cyclone Biparjoy decreasing once it crosses the coast, informed IMD Ahmedabad Head Manorama Mohanty. Meanwhile, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel chaired a review meeting with officials in Gandhinagar city of Gujarat on June 14 over the preparedness for Cyclone Biparjoy.
