Assam CM Himanta Sarma takes a dig at Owaisi, assures to shut 300 more madarassas in Assam

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma attended `Hindu Ekta Yatra` in Hyderabad’s Karimnagar of Telangana on May 13. Addressing the rally, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma targeted AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi over the recently released film ‘The Kerala Story’ which raised controversies and political discussions. He said that ‘Love Jihad’ has raised an alarm in Assam that led to the closing of 600 ‘Madarsas’ in 2 years and assured to shut another 300 in one year. Earlier, Owaisi had questioned the filmmakers of ‘The Kerala Story’ if the movie is based on facts or fiction.
