A 29-year-old man bludgeoned his former girlfriend to death with a wrench on a busy road in Vasai at 8.23 am on Tuesday. The killer, Rohit Yadav, hit the woman, Aarti Yadav, 20, on her head 16 times in a span of 60 seconds, while she lay motionless, bleeding. The incident took place while Aarti was on her way to work. Mumbai: Man held for defrauding elderly woman

The Kurar Police in Mumbai arrested a man suspected of allegedly defrauding an elderly woman on pretext of helping in securing a job at Film City, an official said. According to the police, the suspect was identified as Vinodkumar Ramchandra Jaiswal, 29. He allegedly defrauded an elderly woman by making false promise.
