Well, it was the engagement ceremony of Anant Ambani, son of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani. Anant got engaged to Radhika Merchant. For the unversed, Radhika is the daughter of Viren Merchant, who is the CEO of ‘Encore Healthcare’.

The grand gala event was attended by the who’s who. Today, all the roads led to ‘Antilia’, which happens to be Mukesh Ambani's palatial mansion in Mumbai.
It was the engagement ceremony of Anant Ambani, son of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani. Anant got engaged to Radhika Merchant. For the unversed, Radhika is the daughter of Viren Merchant, who is the CEO of ‘Encore Healthcare’.
The guest list included the who’s who from across sectors. While from Bollywood, one could spot the suave Kirran Rao dazzling in a saree
Anil Ambani was dressed in pink kurta while his wife was seen in a electric golden brown saree.
As from Bollywood, one also spotted Vidhu Vinod Chopra, his wife Anupama Chopra and also filmmaker Raju Hirani.
One may recall that, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s ‘roka’ ceremony’s party was conducted at Antilia. The ‘roka’ ceremony had taken place on December 29 last year.
As for Radhika Merchant, she hails from Kutch, Gujarat and has been trained in Bharatnatyam for eight years.
Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and his wife Anjali Tendulkar also attended the grand function.
Radhika Merchant is a disciple of Guru Bhavana Thakar of Shree Nibha Arts. Last year (in June precisely), she had performed her 'Arangetram', which was hosted by the Ambani family at Jio World Centre.
As for Anant, he has been a student of the USA-based Brown University and also takes care of Jio’s business and Reliance Retail Ventures.
Even though the engagement ceremony was held today, the pre-engagement events had stated off earlier. Radhika’s mehndi ceremony was held yesterday. The day also saw the traditional ‘gol dhana’ and ‘Chunari Vidhi ceremony’, which is a pre-wedding ritual in Gujarati. However, the ‘icing’ on the cake was the surprise performance by Ambani family members, which was led by Nita Ambani. As for the engagement attires, while Radhika Merchant was seen in a stunning lehenga that was designed by the famous designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. On the other hand, Anant Ambani was seen in a dark blue kurta with jacket.
