A 26-year-old man from Kalyan, Thane hanged himself at his in-laws' house in Aurangabad on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Sachin Ahire. He was employed with a private firm.
Inspector Sachin Sanap told The Times of India, "As per preliminary inquiry, the youth had recently come to Aurangabad. After staying here for a few days, he wanted to take his four-year-old son with him to Kalyan. However, the family had an argument on Monday night. Ahire went to sleep in his room, but was found hanging in early Tuesday. He had used a scarf to hang himself."
The victim was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital where he was declared "brought dead".
