Kumar believes that drug addiction is being used as a tool to distract and disorient young people, diverting their attention from critical issues affecting their lives and the nation as a whole.

In his address, he raised concerns about the adverse effects of drug addiction on the youth. He emphasized how drug dependency is pushing young people into states of delirium, rendering them oblivious to the challenges facing them, their communities, past, future, and the entire nation.

Kumar also questioned the government's approach to the redevelopment of Dharavi and the exclusion of thousands of people from their rights in the process. He criticised PM Narendra Modi's "sabka saath, sabka vikas" (together with all, development for all) slogan, suggesting that it has not been realized for numerous individuals who remain marginalized during Dharavi's redevelopment.

Kanhaiya Kumar criticised the prime minister's focus on launching a special app for students while unemployment remains a critical issue. He called on the government to fulfill its promises of job creation and questioned the insufficient allocation of the budget to education.

He urged Prime Minister Modi to focus on "Jan Ki Baat" (people's demands and desires) rather than "Mann Ki Baat" (what's on one's mind).

Kumar criticized the Eknath Shinde government, alleging that it was taking the citizens for granted. He suggested that the people of Maharashtra fully comprehend the situation and will eventually make their voices heard, calling for a change in the ruling dispensation.
