Manoj Kumar, the Chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), visited the Khadi Dyers and Printers Unit at Kore Gramodyog Kendra, Borivali (West) on Friday. The national flag is made at this unit.

The term khadi was trademarked by the KVIC in 2014.
Khadi is a hand-spun and woven natural fibre cloth promoted by Mahatma Gandhi during the Independence movement
Kumar was accompanied by Vatsalya Saxena, the Chief Executive Officer of KVIC
In 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the revival of the khadi movement will help the poor
