Prime Minister Narendra Modi suggested leaders from the NCP and Shiv Sena to consider aligning with Ajit Pawar and Eknath Shinde post Lok Sabha election results

Modi hinted at a possible merger between the NCP, Shiv Sena, and Congress, accusing smaller parties of contemplating survival strategies by aligning with the Congress post-elections, without explicitly naming Sharad Pawar.

Modi urged leaders to avoid merging with the Congress and instead join forces with Ajit Pawar and Eknath Shinde, indicating a shift in political dynamics and potential realignment post-elections.

Modi criticised the Congress for allegedly conspiring against Hindu beliefs and questioned its stance on issues like the Ram temple construction and Ram Navami celebrations, accusing the party of undermining India's cultural heritage.

Modi targeted Sam Pitroda, a Congress leader, for his controversial remarks regarding the physical appearance of Indians, highlighting instances where Congress leaders allegedly made derogatory comments about religious and ethnic identities.

Modi reaffirmed his commitment to preserving reservation benefits for Dalits, adivasis, and OBCs, condemning any attempts to introduce religious-based quotas, which he argued would violate the principles of the Constitution.

Modi cautioned against the Congress's alleged agenda to replicate its Karnataka model across the country, which involved reallocating quotas from SC, ST, and OBC categories to minority vote banks, accusing the party of undermining social justice.

Modi positioned himself as the guardian ('chowkidar') of the rights of marginalised communities, pledging to defend their interests against any attempts to dilute reservation policies or infringe upon their constitutional rights.
