Expecting huge crowds visiting the Marine Drive on New Year's Eve, Mumbai Police has issued traffic restrictions at Marine Drive

The Mumbai Traffic Police has announce multiple road closures for traffic movement and has issued a list of alternate routes for motorists on New Year's Eve

The N.S Road North Bound will remain closed for all the types of vehicular traffic except emergency vehicles proceeding both bounds, from N.C.P.A, Girgaum Chowapatty

The motorists case take the Ramnath Poddar Chowk (Godrej Junction) route and then take a right turn towards Maharshi Karve Road- Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk (Chuchgate Junction) - Marine Lines-Charni, the police said

The police said that there will be a no parking for all types of vehicles from 18-00 hrs on 31/12/2023 to 06-00 am on 01/01/2024 on the South and North bound on the following roads-

N.S Road; Madam Cama Road; Dinshaw Vacha Road; Maharshi Karve Road; Barrister Rajni Patel Marg; Ramnath Goenka Marg; Veer Nariman Road; Vinay K Shah Road

To manage potential traffic congestion and ensure public safety, the police has declared specific areas as 'no parking zones' temporarily. Some routes will be designated as 'no parking zones' from 00:01 on 31/12/2023 to 08:00 on 01/01/2024
