Meanwhile, Mumbai Police on Wednesday issued a list of traffic diversions around Dadar ahead of the Republic Day 2024 parade on January 26

In a traffic notification, Mumbai Police said, on 26th January 2024 due to Republic Day Parade at Shivaji Park ground in Dadar, all adjoining roads shall be closed for vehicular traffic from 06:00 hrs. to 12:00 hrs. In order to make traffic management, vehicular traffic on the said roads, some routes needs to be diverted temporarily by issuing an order

The police said, in order to prevent danger, obstructions and inconveniences to the public some traffic diversion were being issued by the police

The police said, following traffic management is being made on 26th January, 2024 from 06.00 hrs to 12.00 hrs, the traffic notification said

The Parade Route march commencing from Shivaji Park ground through Gate No. 5 would proceed along left turn- Keluskar Road North- C. Ramchandra Chowk (Keluskar North Juction) - left turn - Swantantra Vecr Sawarkar road- South bound- Sangeetkar Vasant Desai Chawk (Keluskar South junction)- Right Turn-will ternminate/end at Narali Baug

"The motorists are advised to avoid the above said roads between 06.00 hrs. to 12.00 hrs. Signage Boards as well as police personnel shall also be present at various places to direct motorist/pedestrians to ensure that the least inconvenience is caused to them," the police said

There will be no parking at Keluskar Road (Main, South & North), Lt. Dilip Gupte Road from Keluskar Road (North) to Pandurang Naik Road, Pandurang Naik Road, (Road no 5), N. C. Kelkur Road from Gadkari Chowk to Kotwal Garden. Saint Dnyancshwar Road

The vehicular traffic proceeding from Siddhivinayak Junction through Swatantra Veer Savarkar road shall take right turn at S. K. Bole road take left turn towards Portuguese church- Proceed through Gokhale Road- Gadkari Junction- L. J. Road- Raja Bade Chowk towards western suburbs, the police said

N.C. Kelkar Road and Keluskar Road from L. J. Road Junction (Gadkari Junction) up to South and North junction will be be closed for vehicular traffic, the police said
