A fire broke out in the Tardeo area of Mumbai on Thursday night, prompting a swift response from Mumbai fire officials.

The incident occurred in a single-storied industrial estate, raising concerns about property damage and potential risks to nearby residents.

Upon receiving information about the fire, five fire brigade vehicles were immediately dispatched to the scene to contain the blaze.

The prompt action taken by the fire department helped prevent the escalation of the situation and ensured the safety of the surrounding area. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported as a result of the fire.

The fire reportedly originated on the first floor of the industrial estate, officials told.

Firefighting operations were underway at the scene. Two small hose lines and four motor pumps are being utilised to combat the flames and prevent further spread of the fire.

A thorough investigation is being conducted to determine the cause of the incident. This investigation will help identify any lapses in safety protocols.

Recently, at least six people were injured in a fire that broke out at an industrial compound in Dharavi slum area of Mumbai on Tuesday, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
