The Maharashtra Congress under its state unit chief Nana Patole on Thursday reviewed preparations of the organisation ahead of next year's Lok Sabha and state Assembly polls.
Nana Patole exhorted party leaders to work towards winning every single seat in Maharashtra.
"The Lok Sabha elections are just a few months away. After that, assembly elections will be held. Congress party has already started preparing for both of these elections. In all the 48 Lok Sabha seats and all the constituencies of the Vidhan Sabha, the Congress organisation, cells, departments, and frontal organizations, should work with full strength," he said.
On Wednesday, the Congress' core committee held a meeting involving observers of the 48 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

A joint meeting of the presidents of various departments, cells, alliances and organizations and the district presidents of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee was held at Tilak Bhavan under the chairmanship of Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Nana Patole said that 39 cells have been established to connect all castes, and religions across the society with the Congress party.
"All these cells as well as Youth Congress, Mahila Congress, NSUI, and all frontal organizations will work with full strength in the upcoming elections. The base of the Congress party is increasing, people's faith in Congress is getting stronger, and people want change. Reach out to the people and work with determination to bring Congress back to power," he added.
Nana Patole further said that people are fed up with BJP's governance, the main goal of Congress is to oust the corrupt, unjust, tyrannical BJP government from power.
"The BJP is working to suppress the voice of those who speak against the government by taking action. There was no reason to impose MCOCA on Nagpur's lawyer Satish Uke. But misuse of power is going on in the state and this action has been taken from the same ideology. Satish Uke has complained that Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis hide important information in the affidavit filed to the Election Commission. This is a struggle for power and the people will defeat the BJP," he added.
