The Mumbai Police on Saturday issued a traffic advisory for October 15 ahead of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal rally in Shivaji Park area of Dadar in Mumbai.
According to the police, on October 15, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Bajrang Dal has organised public address meeting at Raja Badhe Chawk, Shivaji Park, Mumbai for completion 350 years of "Chartrapati Shivaji Maharaj Rajyabhishek".
The police said, the roads adjoining Raja Badhe Chawk, Shivaji Park shall be closed for vehicular traffic from 14.00 hrs. to 19.00 hrs. And in order to make traffic management, vehicular traffic on the said roads, the traffic needs to be diverted temporary by issuing an order.
The Mumbai Traffic Police issued a traffic notification on Saturday in connection with the October 15 rally of VHP and Bajrang Dal.

The traffic notification was issued by Pradnya Jedge, Deputy Commissioner of Police (H.Q. & Central), Traffic Head Quarters, Mumbai.
It said, in order to prevent danger, obstruction and inconvenience to the public the following traffic arrangments were being made.
The notification said, following orders for traffic management shall remain in force on 15th October, 2023 from 14.00 hrs to 19.00 hrs.
Road closed for vehicular traffic:
1- M. B. Raut Road shall be closed for vehicular traffic from Cafe Traffima Hotel, Raja Badhe Chawk to Shivaji Park Ground Gate No - 05.
2- M. B. Raut North road shall be closed for vehicular traffic from Pinge Chawk, Lt. Gupte Road to Raja Badhe Chawk till Tramifa Hotel.
The police also issued alternate routes for the motorists.
Optional Road:
1- Vehicular Traffic came from Raja Badhe Chawk shall be diverted to L. J. road and shall take right turn to Ram Ganesh Gadkari Junction to N. C. Kelker road towards M. B. Rout road and proceed to their destination.
2- Vehicular Traffic came from M. B. Raut North road shall be diverted through Pandurag naik road to Raja Badhe Chawk and proceed to their destination.
Meanwhile, last month, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad had announced to hold âChhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Shaurya Jan Jagran Yatra' in Maharashtra and Goa.
The yatra being organised by the VHP youth wing and the Bajrang Dal is reportedly aimed to reach out to youths in the state.
The VHP had reportedly earlier said that it has decided to hold Shaurya Yatra all over the country to mark the 60 years of its foundation. In Maharashtra and Goa, VHP has decided to hold the Yatra in the name of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
