Nahur is well connected to Thane and Navi Mumbai and the hospital will be within walking distance of the railway station. It will also be well connected to the proposed Metro railway. The hospital is on one side of the proposed Goregaon-Mulund Link Road. A BMC official said, "The hospital will have super-specialty departments like oncology, neurology, nephrology and cardiology. There is a lack of cancer hospitals in the city. In private hospitals the cost of treatment for cancer and other special treatments is very high.
