A level-1 fire broke out in two flats of a residential building near Mohan Gokhake Road in Goregaon at around 9.29 pm on Monday evening, October 24, as per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) official.
According to the preliminary information, a level-1 fire broke out in two flats. Fire is confined to electric wiring, electric installation, furniture. The incident was reported by a Mumbai Fire Brigade official.
The fire was doused at around 10.07 pm.
"Fire extinguished by firemen using two hose lines of four motor pumps with donning 02 BA set and cutting off electric supply," said BMC official.

Mumbai Fire Brigade along with Mumbai Police, BMC ward staff were on the spot.
The official added, "Fire is confined to electric wiring, electric installation, furniture, false ceiling, bed, table, chairs, bed cushion, household articles, etc, in two flats on the seventh floor of the building."
