A fire broke out at Somaiya Hospital campus in Sion, Mumbai on Saturday evening, the BMC said.
According to the civic body, the incident of fire was reported on Saturday evening at around 7:15 pm.
It said that as per the information received from the caller, fire was confined to a room on the 3rd floor of Somaiya Hospital's new under construction building. The
The building is said to be a ground plus 7-storey structure located near the Eastern Express Highway near Sion area.

After receiving the information, four fire engines and ambulance were rushed to the spot. Officials from the Mumbai Fire Brigade immediately launched the fire fighting operations. The fire was declared as a level-1 fire, the civic body said.
The fire was extinguished at around 8:50 pm, the BMC said.
It said that no one was injured in the incident.
