Friends, former colleagues tweet condolences at journalist-writer Anil Dharker’s passing

Journalist and writer Anil Dharker passed away on Friday. Dharker, who was 74, was the former editor of Mid-day and the founder and director of the Mumbai International Literary Festival.

Apart from his vast influence on journalism in Mumbai, Dharker was the founder and chairman of the Single Malt Club of Bombay, according to an Indian Express report.

As news of his death spread on Friday, many of his friends and former colleagues tweeted their condolences.
