Fire in Andheri
A fire in the 21-storeyed Kadam Chawl, an SRA building, on Veera Desai Road in Andheri West killed at least two people on Tuesday. The fire that broke out at around 8:20 pm left three others with minor burn injuries.
Fire officials said that fire first broke out in one flat on the tenth floor and one on the 11th. It was brought under control around 10:10 pm by five fire engines and their team.

According to the locals, the deceased were in their 20s and were found in the drawing room of the tenth floor flat. They were immediately rushed to Cooper Hospital. Ganesh Shinde, Cooper Hospital dean said, "Two charred bodies were brought in and both have been declared dead. We haven't been able to identify them or their gender. We will investigate further."
