Two unidentified persons on a motorbike shot him at Diamond Garden signal in Chembur area of the city on Wednesday night, police said

The victim was identified as Sadruddin Khan, a Navi Mumbai based builder

He was rushed to the nearby Zen Hospital where his condition was stated to be stable

Khan was on his way to Belapur in Navi Mumbai where he lives when the incident to place

Mumbai Police has launched an investigation into the incident and several teams have been formed to trace and nab the shooters, officials said
