"This session will show you how you can brew great coffee at home, from what blends work best, the right temperature, or what equipment you could use. I'll be demonstrating the use of AeroPress, Moka Pot, French Press, Pour Over and the latest Cold Brew Coffee Maker," says Aranha. Each techniques will give your coffee a very different flavour or texture.
The cold brew has seen a surge of popularity in recent years, and Aranha mentions that of all the methods, it takes the longest to make, requiring the brew to sit at room temperature for a good 12 hours.
Apart from techniques, the workshop will also deal with all other things coffee. "We will talk about where your coffee comes from, how you should store it at home, what roast works best for you, as well as whether you prefer your coffee ground or in the form of beans. At the end of the day, drinking a cup of coffee shouldn't be an unpleasant experience for anyone," shares Aranha.
Each brewing cycle will be followed by a tasting session. After little bit of experimentation learnt from the workshop, you should be able to figure out what goes into your ideal cuppa!
