For the evening wedding, Rakul envisioned a contemporary yet vibrant persona, a vision Tarun Tahiliani brought to life with finesse. An intricately hand-embroidered lehenga, bedecked with three-dimensional floral motifs in captivating ivory and blush hues, captured the essence of modern allure
The lehenga was complemented by a blouse featuring sheer tulle sleeves adorned with graded pearls and crystal detailing. Adding layers of elegance to it was a structured tulle veil reminiscent of a floral cascade, adorned with whimsical stars and carefully scattered Swarovski crystals. The ensemble exuded enchanting sophistication, true to Rakul's spirited elegance
Jackky Bhagnani's transcendental groom look for the evening wedding celebration emerges as an ode to legacy and craftsmanship. Tarun Tahiliani, finds his creative pulse in the rich tapestry of Kashmir’s beauty, culture, artistry and the region’s iconic 'Chinar leaf' - a poetic muse from the designer’s early years, becomes a central theme in Jackky's wedding attire
"The meticulously crafted Chikankari sherwani, adorned with the 'intricate chinar' motif, is a labour of love that unfolded over a laborious six-month period," shares Tahiliani. Every detail is brought to life through painstaking hand embroidery, employing various Chikankari techniques with silk threads and enriched with authentic zardozi by their master craftsmen
"This opulent creation, not merely a garment but a saga of artistry, is harmonised with our iconic pleated stole and kurta. Light as a dream, it embodies the spirit of a Goa wedding, a contemporary symphony celebrating the essence of the modern Indian man as personified by Jackky on his big day," Tahiliani reveals the outfit inspiration to Midday
