The main character successfully establishes herself as a woman who knows what she wants and can make sound decisions for the betterment of her state. Even though she was illiterate, she successfully learnt the ropes of administration and made impactful decisions for her state

Men in the uniform have often been glorified however there’s absolutely nothing to celebrate women in uniform. Duranga perfectly shows how a female who has donned the uniform is in no manner inferior to any male who is serving his duty. Ira played by Drashti has been shown as a headstrong, quick-witted and courageous woman who is out there to find out the mystery behind the murders. She is willing to go to any extent to find out the truth behind her husband’s past. She may be someone who loves her family dearly and protects them but let no emotion come in the middle of her duty to serve justice
Sushmita Sen: Arya [Disney+Hotstar]
Sushmita has portrayed the character in such a poised manner that she is not even afraid of goons and goes to any extent to save her family. It is often said that being a mother changes a woman and this series perfectly bears testament to that. The lead character who is a single mother goes to every extent to protect her child from the preying eyes of anti-social elements, showing the intense love a mother has for her children. Even though she has had a gory past, she protects her children from all things that could go wrong with him
Jennifer Winget: CodeM S2 [Voot Select]
While women are often expected to be docile and submissive, Jennifer strong a headed woman cop, she is also shown as a lawyer who is impartial in her conduct and someone in her quest for the truth will go to any and every extent. Even though her relative is someone who has been accused in the case, she gives him no mercy and even brings him to the book. Jennifer is a treat to watch in the show.

While mainstream media has often shown women ignoring the extramarital affairs of their husbands, the women here are extremely determined and have decided to help other females who are facing adultery from her husbands. They have also decided to fight fire with fire even though they know that consequences could be grave and could cost them dearly, bearing testament to the fact that women can be equally brave
