Known for her exemplary work playing Shanti, in the recent hit series Gullak, Actor Geetanjali Kulkarni has steadily made her way into the digital space. Seen playing a short yet pivotal role of the college dean in Dice Media Operation MBBS Season 1, Geetanjali is back with season 2 and her role has much to offer this time. Let's find out!
Operation MBBS season 2 is India's first web series covering the pandemic from the perspective of the medical fraternity who are the true warriors in the COVID-19 pandemic. Geetanjali who is playing the role of a college dean considers this as a gratifying experience of her life. She says, "Characters played in reel life tend to influence an actor's real life experiences as well and this has changed my perspective on various situations. We shot season 2 of Operation MBBS in the middle of a pandemic when the lockdown was lifted slowly across the country but the panic was still on. Our healthcare workers have been frontline warriors and have selflessly faced all the challenges and hurdles first hand. Though we are just role-playing and recreating the gruesome situations they have been through yet it was such an eye opener for all of us and take note of all the sacrifices they have made to keep the country safe and sound. I salute to the entire medical fraternity for the tireless efforts they have and are still putting into this."
Operation MBBS stars Ayush Mehra, Sarah Hashmi and Anshul Chauhan in the lead and is directed by Amrit Raj Gupta and the magnificent team of writers include Ayesha Nair, Puneet Batra, and Dr. Pravin Yadav.
Launched on 15th March 2021, catch all the episodes of Operation MBBS Season 1 and all new episodes of Season 2 on Dice Media's YouTube channel.
