Rashami Desai makes her web debut, alongside Tanuj Virwani, in Tandoor. The Dil Se Dil Tak and Naagin 4 actor plays an aspiring politician in the series directed by Nivedita Basu, who has also produced the show along with Chitra Vakil Sharma and Chandni Soni. "My character, Palak, is a smart, intelligent and fierce woman," says Desai. The web series went on floors soon after the lockdown restriction was lifted in Maharasthra and the government had given a green signal for shootings to resume. And Sharma revealed that though it was challenging, they were able to finish the shoot with zero cases on the sets.
Sharing her experience, she said, "We started shooting right after the COVID lockdown was lifted and the industry was still resuming. We planned a 14 days stringent shoot with lots of precautions and I had to ensure COVID-19 stays at bay from my set. We had to ensure there were no COVID cases on the set and sticking to the timelines was only possible as we managed to do our pre-production extremely well."
She further added, "Also, Nivedita knew what she wanted when the shot started, so it made it quite easy."

Featuring Tanuj Virwani and Rashami Desai in lead roles, the show is a crime thriller inspired by true events. And though it was challenging, Sharma confessed that they had a ball of a time while shooting the show, and she even credited Desai for making their first day more fun.
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Vighnaharta Ganesha actor Anupama Solanki is shooting for Hum Se Humsafar. The web series stars Satyadeep Misra and South actor Priyamani. "The OTT platforms are opening up new opportunities for telly actors," she says.
