The 34th day inside the Bigg Boss 17 house was all about Diwali celebrations and the explosions caused during the bash. It wasn't a pleasant day for Firoza Khan, popularly known as Khanzaadi who had major fights with Aishwarya Sharma and Neil Bhatt at the beginning of the episode.
Bigg Boss then announced the BB Diwali Bash which took place in the evening. He instructed the housemates to head to the store room as soon as a buzzer rang to identify whether they'd received their invitation to the party. The first contestants to get the invite were Ankita Lokhande and Mannara Chopra. Gradually, the entire house got the invitation. They had to dress up for the party and pose for the paparazzi but with a 'Do Not Talk' sticker that covered their mouths.
After the paparazzi session, Bigg Boss gave the housemates a surprise by giving them a chance to claim ration for their respective houses. A task was announced where one member from Dil, Dimag and Dum house had to play a round of cards. They had to pick three cards given by two dealers. After receiving the cards, each of them had to take turns at badmouthing the contestants whose names were mentioned. They weren't allowed to reveal the names before the round ended. The housemates had to prove that their cards were the worst by pointing out mistakes in the contestants.
The first round was played by Mannara Chopra, Neil Bhatt and Sana Raees Khan. Munawar Faruqui and Anurag Dobhal were the dealers. Mannara, who won the task, had to badmouth Khanzaadi, Sana and Neil. The second round had Ankita, Vicky Jain and Aishwarya. Ankita won the round after badmouthing Jigna Vora, Samarth Jurel and Navid Jose. Isha Malviya and Rinku Dhawan were the dealers. Abhishek, Arun Mashetty and Khanzaadi were in the final round. Aishwarya and Neil were the dealers.

Abhishek started the round by bashing Khanzaadi. Calling her 'behen', he slammed her for using people and playing with their emotions. He also said her existence in the house relies on him. Abhishek badmouthed Mannara and Vicky. He won the round. Khanzaadi broke down after the task ended as Abhishek and Arun mocked her health.
Mannara was affected by the remarks passed by the housemates. Munawar went to her and calmed her down. The housemates had an argument over the distribution of food items.
