Being helmed by Faisal Malik of Hamari Film Company, the show is being directed by Sanjeev Sharma of Saat Uchakkey (2016) fame. Malik tells mid-day, "We have secured the rights to narrate their story.

The casting is underway. Love Commandos helps lovers who are shunned by family and society. Pitching against the act of honour killing, they provide assistance in protecting couples, helping them fight harassment and giving them shelter so that they can be wed. The episodes will be about the members and the cases that they have come across."
