Kajal Aggarwal: She made her acting debut in 2004 in 'Kyun... Ho Gaya Na!' in a minor supporting role as the friend of lead actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. In 2009 'Magadheera' became the biggest blockbuster of all time in Telugu cinema, thanks to which she became one of the most sought-after actresses in the Telugu film industry. The actress struck gold with Rohit Shetty's action flick 'Singham', paired opposite Ajay Devgn.
Chiyaan Vikram: The superstar has been part of several blockbusters in Tamil cinema. Having made his foray in Bollywood ten years ago, with Mani Ratnam's Raavan, he made a comeback of sorts with Bejoy Nambiar's David in 2013.
Dhanush: The 'Kolaveri Di' singer took the world by storm with the promotional video of the song from the movie '3'. Down South, he has a number of successful flicks and the actor, who is Rajinikanth's son-in-law, has worked in Bollywood ventures 'Raanjhanaa' and 'Shamitabh'.
Tamannaah Bhatia: Though she marked her foray into Bollywood with 'Chand Sa Roshan Chehra' in 2005, it was only with the Telugu film 'Sri' and Tamil film 'Kedi' that she tasted success in 2005-2006. After doling out one hit after another and establishing herself in the south, Tamannaah headed back to Bollywood to try her luck once again. She was seen opposite Ajay Devgn in 'Himmatwala' and was part of the ensemble cast for 'Humshakals' and Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Entertainment', both of which proved to be box-office disasters.
Shriya Saran: She appeared in several South Indian movies, the most famous being 'Sivaji: The Boss' opposite Rajinikanth. Her Bollywood stint includes movies like 'Mission Istanbul' and 'Awarapan' and the latest being 'Drishyam' opposite Ajay Devgn.
Siddharth Suryanarayan: He made his Bollywood debut as part of the critically acclaimed 'Rang De Basanti' alongside Aamir Khan and Kunal Kapoor. His second Bollywood movie 'Striker' portrayed the life of a carrom player and became the first Bollywood film to release on YouTube and in theatres on the same day.
Asin Thottumkal: She reprised her role in the Hindi remake of 'Ghajini' opposite Aamir Khan after she won her second South Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance in Tamil film 'Ghajini'. Her next project 'London Dreams' opposite Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan flopped badly at the box office, but 'Ready' opposite Salman Khan saw huge success at the box-office.
Ileana D'Cruz: She made her debut in the Telugu film 'Devadasu' which became the year's first major commercial success. After a successful stint down south, the actress made her Bollywood debut with Anurag Basu's 'Barfi' starring Ranbir Kapoor, followed by films such as Main Tera Hero, Baadshaho, Rustom, Happy Ending, Phata Poster Nikla Hero and Mubarakan.
Bhumika Chawla: She is best known for her performances in 'Tere Naam', 'Gandhi, My Father' and the south film 'Sathyabhama'. She even won a Filmfare nomination for Best Actress for her performance in her debut Bollywood movie 'Tere Naam' opposite Salman Khan.
Trisha: After a series of hit Telugu and Tamil films, Trisha debuted in Bollywood with the movie 'Khatta Meetha' opposite Akshay Kumar. However, that is the only Hindi film she has done so far!
Ram Charan Teja: He is better known as superstar Chiranjeevi's son for Bollywood buffs. He made his Bollywood debut with the remake of 'Zanjeer', but that's about it.
Priyamani: She doesn't need an introduction in the south film industry. It was only a matter of time that the National Award-winning actress turned her attention to Bollywood and made her Bollywood debut in Mani Ratnam's 'Raavan' sharing the screen with Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She only grabbed more attention with Ram Gopal Varma's 'Rakht Charitra'.
