Still from The Marvels promo
Brie Larson will soon returns as Captain Marvel in 'The Marvel' film. The actress who plays the role of Carol Danver aka Captain Marvel will be seen joining hands with Teyonah Parris' Monica Rambeau and Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan aka Ms Marvel for the first time for an epic adventure.
Also joining the team of female heroes is Korean star Park Seo-Joon. According to reports, he will be seen playing the role of Prince Yan of Aladna. First glimpse of the star was shared last month on a trailer from the film. It was rumoured that he would play Brie's love interest in the film.
The latest promo of the film, a making into the world of 'The Marvels', also gives us a glimpse of Seo-Joon in action. In the small clip, he is seen wooing Carol with his charm and dance movies. Park Seo-Joon's character belongs to a musical planet where everyone has to sing to communicate. The new promo features Brie and Seo-Joon in a romantic dance sequence as Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani look at them in astonishment.
While it was a small clip, it was enough for fans to speculate that the scene might be from the wedding of their characters. It's been unbelievable… holding onto this for so long and just seeing these incredible things coming to life," Larson says in the clip.
The teaser trailer of ‘The Marvels' showcases Monica Rambeau being thrown into another dimension while Kamala Khan heads to space to meet Nick Fury. Meanwhile, Captain Marvel is stuck in Kamala Khan's home, surrounded by cutouts of herself.
The trio of Monica Rambeau, Carol Danvers, and Kamala Khan join forces to battle extraterrestrial and mortal foes, aided by Nick Fury and briefly joined by South Korean actor Park Seo-joon.
Overall, The Marvels looks like an exciting, promising, and entertaining film, as seen in the teaser trailer.
The film stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, and Park Seo-joon. Helmed by Nia DaCostas, and produced by Kevin Feiger.
Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Mary Livanos, and Matthew Jenkins serve as executive producers. The screenplay is by Megan McDonnell, Nia DaCosta, Elissa Karasik, and Zeb Wells.
The film is a sequel to 2019's action film 'Captain Marvel'. MCU's last release was Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania starring Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly in lead.
The film releases in theatres on November 10.
