Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford
Singer Billie Eilish recently addressed her split from fellow singer Jesse Rutherford. The duo, who broke up in May, had been in the limelight for their brief yet talked-about relationship. When questioned about her current relationship status with Jesse during an Instagram Q/A session, Billie responded, "very very good friends only (heart) my homie forever." As to whether she's seeing anyone now, she stated, "NO SIRRRRRRR (smiling emoji)."
Their absence as a couple became evident when Billie attended the Met Gala this year without Jesse. By the end of May, Billie's representative confirmed to Page Six, "We can confirm Billie and Jesse did split amicably and remain good friends."
The pair initially caught the public's attention in October 2022 when a fan uploaded a TikTok video showing them hand in hand after an event in Los Angeles. They playfully addressed their 10-year age difference on November 1 by making their relationship Instagram official. The post, which has since been edited, showed Billie dressed as a baby for Halloween alongside Jesse, who was dressed as an elderly person. The duo poked fun at their 11-year age gap with her dressed up as a baby, wearing a bib and bonnet, while he went as an old man. They made their red-carpet debut at the LACMA Art + Film Gala 2022 in November. They wore coordinated Gucci pajama looks, reported People magazine.
Previously in a Vanity Fair interview, Billie seemed completely smitten with the "Neighbourhood" singer, sharing her happiness and excitement about their relationship. Having dealt with body confidence issues in prior relationships, Billie felt truly valued and desired with Jesse. She amusingly commented, "I managed to get my way to a point in my life where I not only was known by a person that I thought was the hottest f-king f-ker alive, but pulled his ass."

In the past, Eilish's brother, Finneas has also stood for her against trollers who directed hate towards the age-difference between Eilish and Rutherford, emphasizing that he wants his sister "to be happy and safe" and that she was entitled to make her own decisions at the age of 21.
While Billie's current sentiments suggest she's not looking to date anyone soon, Jesse's perspective on love and future relationships remains under wraps.
