Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2023: Waheeda Rehman thanked the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and Union Minister Anurag Thakur for the Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award, expressing immense happiness and gratitude. She mentioned that it is always fun to receive something that is given out of love and respect. She even gave her views on the Women`s Reservation Bill passed in the parliament recently stating that even she as an actress has chosen roles in her films that depict progressive women as women who have loads of talents as well and they must be given opportunities.
