Sachin Pilgaonkar and Supriya Sabnis: The couple met while shooting for a Marathi movie Navri Mile Navryala (1984), which Sachin was directing. They got married in 1985. Supriya was 18 years old when she married Sachin. The duo is still considered as one of the most successful pairs in Marathi cinema. Incidentally, their birthdays are one day apart, with Sachin Pilgaonkar's birthday on August 17 and Supriya Pilgaonkar's on August 16.

Paresh Rawal and Swaroop Sampat: Back in the '70s, when Paresh was doing theatre, he fell in love with Swaroop, who was a Miss India winner. Their romance culminated into marriage. Swaroop has acted in, and directed, many plays starring Paresh. They aren't a high-profile couple, which is also one of the reasons they are much admired.

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna: After dating actresses Shilpa Shetty and Raveena Tandon, Akshay finally settled into marital life with Twinkle Khanna. The couple got married in 2001. Post the wedding, Kumar's career flourished, though Twinkle quit the industry and dabbled in interior designing and later became an author. Boney Kapoor and Sridevi: Sridevi married Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor in 1996. Boney was earlier married to Mona Kapoor, who passed away in 2011 of cancer. Sadly, Sridevi too passed away in February 2018. Although Boney was married to Mona, he got attracted to Sridevi. The two met for the first time on the sets of 'Mr India', and Boney, who was producing the film, has admitted that it was love at first sight for him. Mona and Boney actually offered Sridevi a place to say in their own house.

Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh: This pair has acted with each other in many films in the 70s, and their romance blossomed during this phase. They finally got married in January 1980. A bit difficult to believe but Neetu was said to be only 14 when she began dating Chintu. Apparently, while working on their first film together, Zehrila Insaan, Rishi troubled Neetu a lot. He would spread kajal on her face after she had completed her make up. Expectedly, Neetu would get irritated, but over time this very prankster stole her heart. Among their successful films were Khel Khel Mein (1975), Kabhie Kabhie (1976), Amar Akbar Anthony (1977), and Doosra Aadmi (1977). Neetu and Rishi also starred in Do Dooni Char (2010) and their son Ranbir Kapoor's film Besharam (2013). Sadly, Nargis lost her battle to cancer in 1981, while Sunil Dutt died of a heart attack in 2005.

Mithun Chakraborty and Yogeeta Bali: Yogeeta, who was briefly married to Kishore Kumar, tied the knot with Mithun in 1979 and went on to star in a few films, namely Khwab (1980), Unees Bees (1980), Beshaque (1981), and Aakhri Badla (1990).

Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak: After his marriage with Neelima Azeem (Shahid Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter's mother), which lasted nine years, Pankaj tied the knot with fellow actor Supriya in 1986. Their relationship has been going strong since. The couple starred together in the 2007 critically-acclaimed film Dharm.
