Fardeen Khan debuted with actress Meghna Kothari with the 1998 film Prem Aggan, which was written, produced and directed by his father Feroz Khan. While he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for Prem Aggan, the film was not appreciated by critics and cinegoers
