Bigg Boss has the power to take a toll on relationships, and the show has always confronted contestants with emotional challenges. In the fifteenth week, it was Rubina and Abhinav whose relationship was undergoing a crisis. The two were seen arguing about their differences in the Bigg Boss house. She reminded him that she has always stood by him. However, Abhinav remained obstinate and said that Rubina was getting emotional for no reason. The argument didn't end on a good note as Abhinav got up and left a weeping Rubina sitting alone on the couch.

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss announced the coveted captaincy task. This time, two chosen contestants (Aly and Sonali) who were vying for the captaincy posed as scientists. The other housemates turned into lab rats, and the scientists had to test two different coloured pills on them. One was the medicine while the other a deadly poison. If the housemates choose correctly, they would move ahead, but if they ate the wrong pill, a siren would ring and that housemate would lose.

The housemates all started plotting about which pill will be the medicine and which one will be the poison. Scientist Aly told Nikki that she would eat the red pill. However, Sonali and Aly decided that the red pill was the poison. When Nikki entered and opted to eat the red pill, the buzzer rang announcing that it was poison. Nikki was devastated. She blamed Aly for scheming against her and she vowed to never believe anyone in the house anymore.

Sunday brought in some surprises for the contestants, when Bigg Boss arranged for a visit by family members. Rahul Vaidya's mother was the first to enter. An overjoyed Rahul sang a song for her. He also asked her about his marriage plans and she replied that the preparations had already begun. This bit of news left the housemates in smiles.

Nikki's meeting with her mother turned out to be quite emotional. Nikki cried as soon as she saw her mother. She complained to her mother that the housemates were being fake with her and that any bond she tried to establish, broke up. Her mother advised her that it was a game and that she needed to maintain her composure. Nikki couldn’t help but thank Bigg Boss for it. Aly's video call with his family, too, was an extremely emotional point.

The most emotional call of all was between Eijaz and his elder brother. As the younger sibling, Eijaz confessed how he currently felt in the Bigg Boss house. His elder brother gave him some great advice and told him to not feel alone ever.

Jasmin's parents came to see her and she cried the moment she saw them. Her parents hugged her and the family had an emotional reunion. Jasmin's dad gave her some advice on her game in Bigg Boss, "Please take care of your health, it's very important, okay? You have been doing amazing but I miss the Jasmin I used to see in the beginning of the show. I miss seeing you smile and laugh all the time. I want you to play your own game. Aly is nice but focus on your own game now. Play on your own. We just want you to be happy; if you are happy, we are also happy." 

Jasmin's emotional night turned traumatic for her when Bigg Boss announced her eviction from the house. Her eviction came as a shock to her fans. Host Salman Khan got emotional and could not hold back his tears while announcing her exit. Her squabble with housemate Rakhi Sawant seemed to have worked against her. Even Jasmin and Rakhi apologised to each other and hugged it out after this. Although the other contestants gave Jasmin 12 minutes to talk to her parents, time seemed to just slip by. It was time for her parents to leave and all three of them were crying. There was talk that Bhasin might be back on the show. A re-entry always adds to the drama in the Bigg Boss house.

Meanwhile, on Monday, Salman Khan made sure that the contestants got an interesting dose. Starting with a very thorny path, Salman Khan asked the contestants to name the one housemate whom they want to lay thorns for. Vikas was very clear that he wanted to lay thorns in Arshi's path. Aly selected Rakhi, while Rahul, Arshi and Eijaz all picked Rubina in whose path they would like to lay thorns. A defiant Rubina thanked all three and said that their ill-intentions and strategies have made her a stronger person.

The two rivals, Arshi and Rubina, were given a rare chance by Bigg Boss both verbally and physically. The two ladies entered the 'Sultani Akhada', where they got a chance to battle it out in two rounds. The first round was based on a debate where the two had to explain verbally why they were better than the other. The next round was when they literally stepped in the fighting pit and had a go at each other with giant paddles. The physical Dangal was where the two women got to push each other out of the ring.

Wednesday began with a bang when the housemates decided to revolt against captain Rakhi Sawant. Aly Goni was the first one to take up arms against Rakhi. He said that Rakhi broke his heart when she wished ill for Jasmin and him. He admitted his affection for Jasmin and said that he would never forgive Rakhi for her comments about Jasmin and his relationship. Aly and Rakhi locked horns, and the two were not ready to back down! The housemates tried to calm them, but it was not an easy job!

Eijaz was next who questioned Rakhi's capabilities as a captain. He told her that he had been a captain in the house and tried to make her understand her responsibilities. However, Rakhi was in no mood to listen. Slowly, each and every housemate was up in arms against Rakhi. Starting from Arshi, who clearly disobeyed Rakhi's orders, to Eijaz, who again entered a fighting match with her, to even Rahul, who thought Rakhi was the worst captain ever; no one was in the mood to listen to Rakhi!

The weight of captaincy hung heavy on Rakhi’s shoulders as she broke down and confessed to Bigg Boss that she was struggling with her position.

There is always some action taking place in the Bigg Boss house. The first casualty in the Bigg Boss 14 house, as the game heats up, are the relations that the contestants have forged. Friends are seen falling apart and husband and wife relations hit a rocky patch. That's what is currently happening inside the Bigg Boss house as relationships are facing a major strain, particularly in the fifteenth week.
