Mona Singh and Shyam Gopalan: Television actress Mona Singh tied the know with her longtime beau Shyam Gopalan on December 27, 2019. It was an intimate affair, nevertheless, a fun-filled one.

Pooja Batra and Nawab Shah: Virasat actress Pooja Batra surprised her fans when she secretly tied the knot with Panipat actor Nawab Shah. Talking about the wedding, Nawab Shah said in an interview, "One has to be ready to experience something like this, and I guess, Pooja and I were in that space. It was as if we were destined to be together. We didn't want to think about it too much and delay it (marriage) any further. Both of us have gone through various phases in life and have matured over the years."

Prateik Babbar and Sanya Sagar: Another wedding that took netizens by surprise was Prateik Babbar marrying long-time girlfriend Sanya Sagar. The actor got married to his girlfriend Sanya Sagar on January 23 in traditional Maharashtrian style in Lucknow. Sanya Sagar is a writer-director-editor hailing from Lucknow and is a politician's daughter. Doesn't the couple look adorable together? 

Mohena Kumari Singh and Suyash Rawat: Television actress and princess of Rewa Mohena Kumari Singh tied the knot with Suyash Rawat on October 14, 2019. Best known for her character, Keerti Maheshwari, in the TV show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Mohena's wedding with Suyash was truly a royal affair!

Aarti Chhabria and Visharad Beedassy: Remember Awara Paagal Deewana actress Aarti Chhabria? She got hitched to Mauritius-based chartered accountant and tax consultant Visharad Beedassy in a low-key wedding in Mumbai. Talking about finding Mr Right, Aarti said in an interview, "I feel it is because of my family's blessings that I found Visharad because he is everything that I had ever dreamt of. I am extremely lucky to have found him after a long wait."

Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen: Another couple who got married in 2019 was TV actress Charu Asopa and Sushmita Sen's younger brother Rajeev Sen. The couple had a court wedding on June 7, followed by a big fat Indian wedding in Goa on June 16. Both Bengali and Rajasthani rituals were observed at the wedding, which was attended by Sushmita Sen, her parents, daughters Renee and Alisah, beau Rohman Shawl, and others. 

Neeti Mohan and Nihar Pandya: Neeti Mohan of girl band Aasma fame tied the knot with boyfriend actor Nihar Pandya on February 15. The ceremony took place at the magnificent Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad. Nihar, who was seen in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, revealed how they met. "A friend was a part of Aasma - the band that Neeti also had an association with. I always asked that friend to introduce me to Neeti, but it never happened. Surprisingly, at the same friend's wedding in Goa, almost a year ago, I met Neeti formally. I was in love with her... Thereon started our love story," he revealed on a show.

Sheena Bajaj and Rohit Purohit: TV actors Sheena Bajaj and Rohit Purohit tied the knot on January 22 in Jaipur after five years together. The couple tied the knot in two ceremonies - Punjabi and Marwari. Sheena and Rohit met on the sets of the show, Arjun, and were inseparable since then. 

Soundarya Rajinikanth and Vishagan Vanangamudi: Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya got married to Vishagan Vanangamudi in a classy South Indian wedding on February 11 in Chennai. This is Soundarya's second wedding; the producer-director was previously married to Ashwin Ramkumar and has a son with him named Ved Krishna. South stars like Mohan Babu, Kamal Haasan, Vishnu Manchu, and B-town celebs like Kajol and Aditi Rao Hydari attended Soundarya's wedding with Vishagan.

Aashritha Daggubati and Vinayak Reddy: Aashritha, Venkatesh Daggubati's daughter, tied the knot with Vinayak Reddy, son of R Surender Reddy, the founder of Hyderabad Race Club. Salman Khan, Ram Charan Teja, Rana Daggubati, Naga Chaitanya and a host of other celebs attended the celebrations.

Akshay Gada and Murup: Producer Jayantilal Gada's son, Akshay, got married in a high-profile wedding to ladylove Murup in April this year. Attendees included Amrita Rao, Boney Kapoor, Urvashi Rautela, Arjun Rampal, Deepshikha Nagpal, Dilip Joshi, Randeep Hooda, Padmini Kolhapure, Poonam Dhillon, Kabir Khan with wife Mini, Sajid Nadiadwala with wife Wardha among other celebs.

Ashrita Shetty and Manish Pandey: Actress Ashrita Shetty and cricketer Manish Pandey had a traditional wedding ceremony on December 2 at a Mumbai hotel. The wedding took place less than 24 hours after Pandey led Karnataka to the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 title in Surat with a one-run victory over Tamil Nadu. Don't the newlyweds look gorgeous together?

Sayyeshaa and Arya: Sayyeshaa, who made her Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgn's Shivaay, tied the knot with Jamshad Cethirakath, aka Arya, in March this year. For those who don't know, Sayyeshaa is the daughter of Bollywood actors Sumeet Sehgal and Shaheen Banu, the latter being the daughter of veteran actor Saira Banu's brother, Sultan Ahmed. While grand aunt Saira Banu was seen shaking a leg at the wedding party, Sanjay Dutt, Aditya Pancholi and actress Anju Mahendru were also in attendance.

Ssharad Malhotra and Ripci Bhatia: Banoo Main Teri Dulhann actor Ssharad Malhotra and designer Ripci Bhatia got married in a lavish ceremony on April 20. From Ssharad carrying his bride-to-be in his arms, to the varmala amid firecrackers, the wedding was quite filmy. "It feels amazing to be married! In fact, I have started feeling so responsible suddenly," said an excited Ssharad Malhotra. Celebrities such as Zain Imam, Shashank Vyas, Rishina Kandhari, Shivin Narang, Rashami Desai, and others graced Ssharad and Ripci's wedding.

Devaansh Barjatya and Nandini Bhattad: Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya's son Devaansh got hitched to Nandini Bhattad in November. The Barjatya family held a grand reception for their friends from the film fraternity on November 29 at a plush hotel in Juhu. Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Salim Khan, Alvira Agnihotri, Iulia Vantur, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Sriram Nene, Shahid Kapoor, Pankaj Kapur, Supriya Pathak, Amrita Rao and husband RJ Anmol, Kartik Aaryan, Mahesh Bhatt and several other Bollywood celebs attended the event.

The wedding reception was attended by countless celebs including Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Emraan Hashmi, Kartik Aaryan, Hrithik Roshan and Rekha.

Jahaan Arora and Latansha Raichandani: Naamkarann actor Jahaan Arora got hitched to long-time girlfriend Latansha Raichandani. He took fans by surprise as he shared pictures from the ceremony attended by family and close friends. He captioned the post, "Aur, pyaar ho gaya (sic)."

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner: A number of Hollywood celebrities, too, got married in 2019. One couple among them was singer Joe Jonas and Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner. Joe and Sophie exchanged wedding vows at an impromptu ceremony in Las Vegas on May 1. Fans caught wind of the couple's nuptials when American DJ-record producer Diplo posted footage from the ceremony. This was followed by an elaborate wedding on June 29 in France attended by the couple's close friends and family, including GoT star Maisie Williams and Joe's brother Nick Jonas and sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney: Finally, we come to the wedding of Silver Linings Playbook actress Jennifer Lawrence with art dealer Cooke Maroney in October this year. The couple got married in a ceremony at the Belcourt of Newport mansion in Rhode Island with 150 guests.
