Sandeep Reddy Vanga targets Javed Akhtar for his comment on `Animal`
Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently enjoying the success of the Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer 'Animal.' The director has been quite vocal about the backlash his film has received and is leaving no stone unturned in replying to the people who have criticized his action drama. From Kiran Rao to several other critics, Vanga has been calling out all of them. This time, on his radar, was veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar. In a recent time, Javed Akhtar Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal success 'dangerous'.
Now, while hitting back at Akhtar, Vanga in an interview with Siddharth Kannan said, "It is very clear that he did not watch the film. It's very clear in that comment that he did not see the entire film. Now if someone is talking without watching the film, what can I say about them? Obviously, you feel bad because it is very clear that he has not seen the film and not only about him; anybody who is throwing stones on an art piece, why don't they check their surroundings first?"
He further asked Javed Akhtar why he didn't tell the same thing to his own son for producing a show Like Mirzapur. Sandeep shared, "Why didn't he tell the same thing to Farhan Akhtar when he was producing Mirzapur. Duniya bhar ke gaali Mirzapur ek show mai hai (the series is full of abuses) and I haven't watched the whole show. When the show was translated into Telugu, if you watch that, then you will feel like puking. Why is he not checking his son's work?"
Ranbir Kapoor-starrer and mega-blockbuster action drama 'Animal' premiered on Netflix on Republic Day. The movie, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, created a stir at the box office.

Animal explores the intricacies of modern-day relationships, focusing on the dynamics between a father and son. It stars Ranbir in a dual role as Ranvijay and Aziz Haque. The movie stars Anil Kapoor as Ranbir's father, Balbir Singh. The film also features Bobby Deol in the pivotal role of Abrar Haque. Rashmika Mandanna plays Ranbir's wife, Geetanjali. Triptii Dimri portrays the character of Zoya. The film also features Shakti Kapoor, Prem Chopra, and Suresh Oberoi, among others.
