Bollywood actor Ranvir Shorey made his debut with Pooja Bhatt's Jism in 2003. For the uninitiated, Shorey was in a relationship with the Sadak actress and the two parted ways later. He had a fallout with the Bhatts and in an interview recently, the Lootcase star has something to say about the same.
He spoke to Rediff and stated, "Firstly, I don't think they are that powerful. Secondly, it's not like I made a choice to make enemies out of them. It was they who did that to protect their child. They started lying about me in public."
He added, "It becomes hard because you don't get as many good opportunities. You have to make do with smaller opportunities. If there is adversity, you have to find a way to work around it. So even if it did affect the work coming my way, like they say, when God shuts one door, he opens another. I had my own fate. They can try to put you down but they can't take away your destiny."
Shorey is known to be a part of films like Khosla Ka Ghosla, Pyaar Ke Side Effects, Traffic Signal, Bheja Fry, and Sonchiriya. When asked about his professional and social isolation, this is what he said, "Like I said, it's nature's balance. If it endows you with something, it also puts some baggage on your back."
