Kamal Haasan celebrates 67th birthday; daughters Shruti, Akshara share endearing throwback photos

Kamal Haasan has turned a year older today and daughters Shruti and Akshara Haasan made it all the more special by sharing throwback photos on Instagram to wish him happy birthday. Sharing a black and white photo, Shruti marked her dad's birthday and wrote, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! @ikamalhaasan may this year and many more to come be filled with your signature brand of joy, magic and artistry. lots of love and can't wait to see the incredible things you have in store for us !!!"

The picture features a young Kamal Haasan with a much younger Shruti. Many of Shruti's industry friends showered love on the post. Suchitra Pillai commented, "What a beautiful Photo", while south director Gopichand Malineni wrote, "Adorable".

Akshara Haasan, too, shared a series of old and new photos that are sure to make you nostalgic, as one of the photos features Kamal Haasan in his 'Chachi 420' getup. "Happiest birthday to my bapu dearest. I'm blessed to have learnt so much about life and its different perspectives through your work. The heart with which you drive your passion has inspired me to be the best in what I chose to do. Happy Birthday My Rockstar, Bapuji," she wrote alongside the photos.

On the work front, Kamal Haasan has a number of projects to look forward to. The brilliant actor has the Tamil film 'Vikram', 'Indian 2', and 'Dasavatharam2.0' in the pipeline.
