Kareena Kapoor Khan recently hosted Dhadak actress Janhvi Kapoor on her chat show What Women Want. There was a question about Kapoor's dating skills, making the first move, and she was rather candid about the same, giving a refreshing answer and admitting her drawbacks.
She said, "But I am very sly. I will drop my hints but I won't make it too obvious till I know the other person is for sure interested. But it is fun to bat eyelashes and have a fun banter. I enjoy the attention. I have never made the first move. I am a little bit of a coward like that."
Kareena then asked Janhvi if she feels her generation has a lot of choices when it comes to romance and dating. This is what she said, "It's good but I've never been on such dating apps so I don't know the perks of that. But a lot of my friends are on Bumble and they have been on these dates so it's a fun experience."

She continued, "You're able to meet a lot of people, there's a lot of openness so it's a good thing. Kareena also asked Janhvi if she has ever asked anyone out, and she quipped, "Never."
After her Bollywood debut Dhadak (2018), which was followed by the anthology Ghost Stories (2020) and Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl (2020), Janhvi Kapoor had wrapped up the horror-comedy Roohi Afzana and was slated to begin work on Dostana 2. As there is no word about when the film will roll, she has moved on to Good Luck Jerry. On Monday, the film went on the floors in Punjab. Kapoor's co-star in Aanand L Rai's production is Deepak Dobriyal, who featured in Rai's Tanu Weds Manu franchise. Good Luck Jerry, directed by Sidharth Sengupta, also features Meeta Vashishth, Neeraj Sood and Sushant Singh.
Speaking of Roohi Afzana, the story revolves around a ghost who puts all the bridegrooms in a town to sleep with his singing so that it can possess their brides. Directed by Dinesh Vijan, this is the second collaboration with Rajkummar, after the blockbuster success of Stree.
Janhvi Kapoor, in a media interaction, shared, "I auditioned for films within Dharma also. I actually auditioned for a film in Dharma only that I didn't end up getting. No, the director will tell me and then Karan will also tell me, 'For this reasonรขยยฆ', 'You are looking too young' or whatever."
"Yeah, it hurt my father, but he had seen the film much before and his belief in my performance and the film was so strong that he was not so affected by the social media situation. That gave me a lot of strength as well," concluded the actress.
