Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's reception was indeed a grand event, with the who's who of the film industry attending the celebration. After tying the knot on 10th January in a grand ceremony in Udaipur, the couple threw a lavish reception party for their industry friends, and celebrities arrived in full attendance to give their blessings to the newlyweds.
The event saw the presence of several stars, including Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Dharmendra, among others, and the visuals from the big day are currently the hot topic. Another video that has made its way to the internet is stealing our hearts. In the video, Aamir Khan was seen instructing Nupur and Ira on how to pose. While interacting with the couple, Aamir said, 'Mein aaj AD banne vala hoon.' The actor further, while chatting with the paparazzi, told them the correct pronunciation of Ira's name (pronounced as Eye-Ra)

For the Ira Khan-Nupur Shikhare reception on Saturday night, Aamir Khan arrived at the function all decked up in a black kurta that he teamed with white pajama. Ira looked beautiful in a red lehenga with minimal jewellery and a dewy makeup look. Nupur wore a black sherwani for his reception. Ira's mother Reena Dutta, and brothers Junaid and Azad Khan were also present at the reception. Junaid was seen welcoming the guests at the red carpet area. Aamir Khan's ex-wife Kiran Rao who was an active part of all the wedding festivities skipped the reception.
The first guests to arrive were the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, veteran actress Jaya Bachchan with her daughter Shweta Bachchan, and Sonali Bendre, who have come to join Aamir Khan on this momentous day. Politician Raj Thackeray and his wife, power couple Genelia Deshmukh and Riteish Deshmukh, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, also marked their presence along with many other actors.
Meanwhile, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare solemnized their relationship via a registered marriage at Taj Lands End, Bandra in Mumbai on January 3. They had a white wedding ceremony in Udaipur. The celebration in Rajasthan lasted for four days. Reportedly, Nupur and Ira met during the COVID-19 lockdown when Nupur was training Aamir Khan and Ira was living with her father.
