Celebrating differently: Holidaying in the Maldives, Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a picture with son Jeh, saying, "On Holi, we build sand castles."

Gulal girls: Soha Ali Khan found the perfect Holi playmate in daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu. Of course, Neha Dhupia came a close second as the two actors soaked in the joy and colours.

Mum's the word!

In only a few months since Hrithik Roshan reportedly started dating Saba Azad, she has developed a close bond with the Roshans. From inviting her over for a Sunday lunch to having home-cooked food delivered to her, the family dotes on her. Now, she has earned the nod of approval from Hrithik's mother Pinkie Roshan. Commenting on Saba's pictures that saw her recreate Audrey Hepburn's look, mommy Roshan wrote: "This is too cute a pic… very close to Hepburn (sic)." We have our eyes peeled for the next chapter in this love story.

Talking movies

The buzz is that Kangana Ranaut and Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri may team up for a movie. The actor has been lauding the director's recent release, The Kashmir Files, which traces the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits. Vivek, who has a few subjects in various stages of development, has discussed some concepts with her. Given that the two share similar ideologies, the two are eager to collaborate professionally. The role that changed it all

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar has a special place in Arjun Kapoor's heart, as it won him critical acclaim. With the film completing one year since its release, the actor took a walk down memory lane, remembering how director Dibakar Banerjee made him revisit dark chapters of his life to get into the skin of the character. "Though it was uncomfortable for me, it helped me deliver a performance that people are calling my career best," says Arjun. He adds that the thriller has influenced the way he approaches his characters now. "I'm unafraid to take up new challenges. I credit Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar for helping me choose films like Kuttey and The Lady Killer. It has made me a better actor."

Diljit in Imtiaz's next

Ayushmann Khurrana, Kartik Aaryan and of course, Imtiaz Ali's favourite Ranbir Kapoor were said to be in contention to headline the filmmaker's next - a biopic on the late Punjabi folk singer, Amar Singh Chamkila. But someone else appears to have beaten the actors in the race. Word is that Imtiaz has opted for Diljit Dosanjh. The Punjabi singer-actor, who looks up to Chamkila, is only too happy to pay a cinematic tribute to his idol. Diljit will also render some of Chamkila's original tracks for the project that is slated to roll this August.
