A Congress MLA from Jharkhand has promised to construct roads in his constituency, Jamtara, smoother than the cheeks of Kangana Ranaut. In a self-recorded video, Irfan Ansari says, "Construction of 14 world-class roads will begin soon. I assure you that they will be smoother than the cheeks of Kangana Ranaut." Ansari faced a lot of flak for his comments, and the actor is yet to react. Almost two decades ago, Lalu Prasad Yadav had promised to make Bihar's streets as smooth as Hema Malini's cheeks. Last November, Rajasthan minister Rajendra Singh Gudha had sparked outrage after his remarks comparing the state's roads to Katrina Kaif's cheeks. In December, Maharashtra minister Gulabrao Patil apologised for likening the roads in his constituency, Jalgaon, to Hema Malini's cheeks. The veteran actor had reportedly said, "Such comments are not in good taste."

It hurts, it pains, and it remains. Just remember, in the end, you are the one who gains."
