Karan Johar, Huma Qureshi and Kettan Singh
An act put up by a comic who was mimicking him on a reality show was in "exceptionally poor taste", said Karan Johar, who came across the clip when he was watching television with his mother. Although he did not drop names, Johar, it appeared, was referring to Kettan Singh, who featured in the show Madness Machayenge, helmed by Huma Qureshi. Soon after Johar shared his displeasure, netizens were quick to point out that the filmmaker had, on several occasions, mimicked other stars on a chat show that he hosts, which made his inability to find humour in a comic act based on him inappropriate. Singh, however, was quick to respond with an apology, stating that he was a "huge fan" of the director. Johar, who had lamented that a director of his stature who "has been in the business for over 25 years" had to endure the trolling, said he wasn't angered but saddened. He even shared a message posted by Ekta Kapoor, who wrote in his support.
Ashutosh Rana, who is set to portray Peter in the upcoming psychological thriller, Murder in Mahim, has shared insights into his role, revealing how playing complex characters drives him to excel. "I'm known for playing complex characters, and that's what gives me a kick. My [character] in this thriller is one I have not explored before. The emotions and persona of this character in the series attracted me, [and compelled me] to say yes to this role. Playing grey characters takes a toll on an artiste; you become the demon, and have to act, think, and express accordingly. But when you get back to reality, you have more [empathy]."

"[Producer] Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Rajkumar Hirani, Sanjay bhai and I want to do it. But the film is not being made yet. Raju has three great scripts for the sequel. But, I don't think that's happening. A lot of time has passed. I told Raju that whatever begins must also end. It seems like we have left the Munna bhai franchise in the interval. Everyone is impatient, because it is not over yet. The series needs to end," he said. Warsi is currently gearing up for the third instalment of Jolly LLB.

Those 10 minutes were truly charismatic due to his responsive nature. The impact of that meeting stays with me." He further added, "He is quite busy, so it's natural to expect replies after two or three days. But I received responses within 10 to 15 minutes. Once, I noted that the longest time he took to reply to my message was 23 minutes. In another instance, when he was in Germany and in a different time zone, and still replied promptly, saying, âWe shall discuss tomorrow'."
