Bollywood actress Yami Gautam's âArticle 370' and Vidyut Jammwal's 'Crakk' released in theatres on Friday, February. Marking Cinema Lovers Day on Friday, all theatres across the country were selling tickets for fixed cost of Rs 99. Owing to this, the collections of the films released very comparatively lesser despite registering a good footfall. Yami Gautam's political drama made over Rs 6 crore and action star Vidyut Jammwal's film âCrakk: Jeetega Toh Jiyegaa!' has minted Rs 4 crore on the first day of its release.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, âArticle 370', which has been directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale made Rs 6.12 crore in India on its first day. âCrakk', which has been directed by Aditya Datt, has earned Rs 4.11 crore in India nett on its first day as per early estimates.
About Article 370:
Director Aditya Suhas Jambhale's political thriller looks at the events around the 2019 abrogation of Article 370, which granted special status to Jammu & Kashmir in terms of autonomy. Gautam portrays a National Investigation Agency intel officer, who played a role in maintaining peace in the Valley. Aware that retelling a real-life story on celluloid is a big responsibility, she walked into the Jio Studios and B62 Studios' venture armed with prep.

Talking about 'Article 370' Yami Gautam earlier said, "Article 370 is a bold chapter of India's history. A political-action-drama inspired by true events, which will show an in-depth portrayal of how intelligence and politics work hand in hand to take some of the most important decisions that change the course for a nation."
About Crakk:
âCrakk' is a high-action sports thriller, which also stars Nora Fatehi, Amy Jackson and Arjun Rampal. It tells the tale of a man going from the slums of Mumbai to the world of extreme underground sports.
Written and directed by Aditya Datt, Crakk brings a never-seen-before action experience to the screens.
