On his janamdin every year, SRK would have an eerie visitor who claimed to be his wife from a previous birth. PS: Strangely enough, she has stopped visiting now
Among the scores of fans who would turn up at Mannat every year to wish Shah Rukh Khan on his birthday was a woman from New Delhi.
SRK distinctly remembers her as someone who would come without fail every year with a huge bouquet of lilies. Moreover, the lady claimed that she was King Khan's wife in an earlier birth!
Woh kaun thi?
Says Shah Rukh, "There was this lady who used to come from New Delhi on my birthday every year. I can't recollect her name now. She had a very pretty face and was overweight. Every year, she'd come to see me two days before my birthday. I still remember that she'd always dress in a white salwar-kameez and a red dupatta and she used to bring me lilies and say that I used to like them in my earlier birth!"
Eerie talker
Though for the actor she was one of the numerous fans at his doorstep, there was something eerie about her and her talk. She'd tell him to remember things from his past life and relate to him his likes and dislikes from that time.
SRK adds, "She was extremely elegant. She would came in a big car so nobody even questioned her. She would tell me that we were married in our previous birth. She would told me that she is married now and she likes her husband but she is cheating on him because actually I am her husband! The way she talked was just scary. I didn't know what to say to her because she strongly believed that we were mates from a previous birth."
She's gone!
Strangely, the woman has now stopped arriving at his doorstep. Suddenly, she has vanished and SRK wonders where to. "She came to see me regularly for seven years and then suddenly stopped coming. I still get that eerie feeling when I think about it", he says.
