As per the designers Rimple and Harpreet, "Surrounded by her entourage of loyal hand-maidens in her private parlour, Manisha Koirala is seen languidly resting in an ivory mul-mul kurti paired with a multi-hued makhmal gharara."

The creators described this look as "The gharara was crafted using a vintage European jacquard stripped velvet textile which was layered with sucha gota textures and a floral marodi ka kaam border gleaned from Kashmir Tilla shawls."

Manisha Koirala as Mallikajaan wore this  "for an evening of poetry recitals at a glittering soirée hosted at the Baloch residence"

Rimple and Harpreet described this look further stating, "The saree featured transparent rainbow tinted sequins and tonal silk floss thread chain stitch embroidery that rendered an all over geometric jaal of organic leaf forms. To give the saree a more graphic feel visually, it was edged with a black facing while the pallu had linear scalloped lines in the same tonal embroidery as the saree."

The designer duo described Aditi Rao Hydari as "Bibbojaan, the older daughter of Mallikajaan, who lives a double life unbeknown to her family."

"For her graceful and coy dance performance, Bibbojaan donned a lush red ghaghra crafted from a vintage suchi zari Kim-Khwab brocade textile, which is layered with a wide floral and avian motif border rendered using handcrafted marodi ka kaam and zardozi. It was paired with deep umber brown makhmal choli (blouse) which featured intricate floral (gleaned from a 19th century British gilet) zardozi embroidery that was crafted using dabka, naqshi, pearls, opals and other semi-precious stones." The makers added.

Talking about Richa Chadha, the creators said she was, "drowning in her opiate delusions of love and grandeur"

Describing the look, Rimple and Harpreet said, "She is wearing an earthy peach Japanese georgette saree wrought with salma-sitara embroidery that was typical to the 1940s and 50s. The Japanese georgette fabric used to craft the saree was approximately 80-90 years old and was sourced from a specialist vendor. "

The designer explained  this look by Richa Chadha stating, "Mallikajaan’s foster daughter dances her swan song before her untimely demise."

She wears a deep blue dress with a red coat, matching it with a gold scarf for her final dance. The blue colour represents her troubled state and the tragic end of her relationship, blending with the green tones of the ballroom where she performs.
