It's that time of the year when Delhiites get ready to experience the aura of fashion at the India Couture Week (ICW). 

Soon a new edition of the prestigious gala will take place in the national capital where ace designers are expected to enthrall the audience by weaving magic through fashion.

The 17th edition will kick-start on July 24 and run till July 31. Here’s a look behind the scenes from the venue as ace designers prepare for fashion galore. 

Kunal Rawal will showcase his collection Sehra on July 26. It reflects the elements of positive omens deeply rooted in traditions that make Indian weddings truly unique. 

Symbolic of the sentiments of new beginnings and culturally diverse nuances, the weaves sourced and crafted from across the country are interwoven to reflect the androgynous ethos of the brand.

Tarun Tahiliani will present his collection 'Otherworldly' on July 30. He describes it as, “Imagine being enveloped in a cocoon- feeling safe, cared for, and in complete harmony with your body and transcending into a new phase of your beauty."

He calls his collection a journey into a realm where comfort and ethereal beauty coexist seamlessly.

JJ Valaya’s collection features custom woven silks, lush velvets, and an array of silhouettes including lehengas, saris, evening jackets, sherwanis, Nehru jackets, and bundgala jackets. He will present it on July 27. 

The Istanbul theme draws from Ottoman intricacies and art deco lines, while Isfahan reinterprets Persian carpets and miniature paintings with a contemporary twist.

Gaurav Gupta's collection Arunodaya signifies the early dawn, derived from the Sanskrit words “Arun” (dawn) and “Udaya” (rise). This phenomenon, where the first light breaks the darkness, is the essence of his collection. He will present on July 29. 

Arunodaya embodies the mystical transformation of night into day, symbolizing hope, renewal, and infinite possibilities.

On July 28, Amit Aggarwal will present his collection described as Time. It is endless and boundless, shapes our journey, linking every thread and soul in the cosmic dance. Within its embrace, everything finds its place and purpose, united in the eternal rhythm of the universe.

He says, "Our new couture line delves into the profound connection between time and the universe, highlighting that nothing exists outside its influence."

Falguni Shane Peacock will present their collection on the finale day. They will unveil, Rang Mahal - a haute couture collection inspired by the regal and dreamy aspects of India’s royal heritage. 

It draws from fifty iconic elements of India’s rich heritage, including grand palaces, lavish lifestyles, and exquisite craftsmanship.
