Bangla-western twist

Mahim’s Subhashree Basu’s Hungry Cat Kitchen was an idea she found solace in after letting go of her ad sales career five years ago. For Durga pujo, there’s a menu full of unconventional Bengali delicacies, some with a western twist like caper butter garlic fish, sweet sour pork, and chelo kebab. There’s also an adda box, full of traditional Bengali snacks like churmur (chaat), mangsher chop, mutton roll, sylheti mutton akhni polao, and mishti. Call her a day prior.
